It’s time for surgery.
A TOTO healing of your past.
Before we recapitulate, there’s one book that will help you understand the nature of trauma and prevent you from repeating the cycle - it’s Peaks and Valleys by Spencer Johnson.
Now, back to the surgical table:
Go back in time, recently or as far as your childhood, and find the most traumatizing event.
Take a sheet of paper and write down what happened.
On another page, script how you would have preferred it to happen; in other words, revise it.
Write down the short and long term impact of your new story, and what it would be worth to have a change of story.
Remember:
Think about what happened and write it down?
Ask yourself, what would I have rather happened? write that down.
Read your new story to yourself 7 times before you go to sleep and when you wake up at 5am.
