All Is VANITY

A 70 year old man confessed something shocking to me:

“Son, if you want to simplify your life, get rid of everything except two things: books and a black suit for your burial.”

“But why only those two things” I argued.

He kindly remarked, “Life is a game, and you need the books to help you become fluent in the game of life”

“Wear the suit when you are done playing the game,” He continued.

Then he warned, “Don’t forget to have fun in the game because there are no winners or losers, only participants”
